“Mistress Mercy, Mommy, my beloved Mommy.

I could talk for a thousand years and still not find words that are perfect enough to thank you for all that you have shown me, taught me, shared with me and challenged me to. I am finally, truly and deeply happy because of you and all that you mean to me. And now: I shall start talking for a thousand years! You know I love a challenge Mommy! I want to thank you for taking my last secret, my spandex obsession, and not just accepting me, but celebrating me. I want to thank you for helping me to find the beauty in me that I always wanted to see but never could. And I want to thank you for accepting into your life and showing me that I can be accepted and loved for being exactly who I am. With you, Mommy, “Elissa” was born. Thank you. Thank you for loving to play games with me, I only hope you enjoy them as much as I have. Thank you for story time and showing me that I did need a Mommy after all. I truly think that without that knowledge, what came later likely would not have happened as it did. Thank you. I am ever in awe of your wisdom and love.

Mistress Mercy, my beloved Mommy. Thank you for always knowing what's best for me! Thank you for your love, your wisdom, your acceptance and your cunning. I am a profoundly different human than I was a year ago. None of my growth would have been possible if not for you. Thank you forever with all of my love. I value the friendship we have so, so much, thank you for being so kind and loving.

 I wish I could tell you just how profoundly happy I am to be able to serve you. Now that I know what awaits me, I cannot wait to begin the next step in my journey.  Thank you for giving me hope and dreams. Thank you for knowing me before I knew myself.”
